Watching pathfinder Vikings meet American Indians was quite enjoying it until they started playing the victim card again.... Poor defenceless Indians what a load of rubbish. Indians vs Vikings the Indians win on their home ground.
I really liked the idea that the Viking longships had shelter for long voyages. I really liked how fearsome and alien they looked. I just hate to see another Indians are the victims film. It's just more complicated than that.

The American Indians were and are much stronger than all this BS.
Native Americans were and are a strong proud warrior race with lots of tribal conflicts that were taken advantage of. They are not just victims of the white man or circumstance.
When I think of house of cards and Indians gambling concessions, nestles deals with native water rights, other deals with oil rights.
It makes me cross. The victim card. Like American English black slavery. slavery existed before the white man and still exists. People do it to themselves.
People need to take responsibility for their own exploitation rather than playing the victim game. Why did the Jewish people walk to their death in the gas chambers?
I guess what makes me really angry is that I'm not sure if I play the conformist victim card myself.
